This course extends the basic emergency first aid at work course and provides the full three day HSE First Aid at Work training. This more in-depth training of the core first aid skills, gives a good understanding of the fundamental principles and the confidence to manage any incident until professional medical care arrives.

This hands-on, practical course is certified by REC, an HSE approved training provider.  Our first aid at work training provides good overall coverage both for those in higher risk workplaces or those wishing to get a greater understanding of the subject and be the main point of contact for first aid incidents in their workplace. Over the three days there is great scope to adapt the course to the particular needs of your workplace, for example looking at particular burns, specific injuries and illness or outdoor issues.

This course is formally assessed with a written paper and practical assessments on the final afternoon.

This was a very different course than other First Aid training courses I have attended. The topics and injuries covered were everyday and relevant to my work place therefore very important to know about.
