| First aid training for teachers and school support staff | |
We provide a range of first aid training courses designed specifically for teachers, from a few hours to four days. Training is either focused in-school (e.g. Lifesaver First Aid, Sports Injuries) or out-of-school for outdoor education activities, science field trips or DofE and overseas expeditions. |

| First aid training for students | |
These lively, practical courses are designed for 11-18 year olds. Training not only gives students first aid skills, but also develops teamwork and leadership abilities. Courses vary from introductory level through to skills designed for DofE and overseas expedition members. |

| Travelwise | |
This is an itinerary-specific health awareness course for students participating in an overseas expedition. Training centres around the theme of problem prevention, and includes hygiene-related illness, animal bites and stings, heat illness, fitness issues, psychological issues, malaria, altitude illness and incident management. The students work in small groups to devise problem prevention strategies, culminating in their ten golden rules for a healthy trip. |

| Incident management training | |
This course is designed for school staff, both on school premises and on off-site trips with students. Training ensures that the staff and school's responses to an incident is effective and in line with best practice and LEA regulations. Training is centred on the school's policies and systems both for immediate management on the ground and liaison with next of kin, media, the LEA and other interested parties. |

| Crisis Team training | |
This is training for the team tasked to deal with off-site incidents, often in an outdoor or adventurous activity context. Training incudes teamwork, leadership and communication elements and is ideal for teachers organising offsite trips and the senior management team wtihin the school. |

| Risk assessment training | |
Formal LEA-approved risk assessment qualifications for teachers and youth workers organising offsite visits in the form of the Off Site Safety Management course. This 2-day training course is certificated by the Royal Geographical Society with IBG. |

| Outdoor qualifications | |
BELA, WGL and Mountain Leader awards; BCU kayak and canoe 'star' and coaching qualifications; Single Pitch Award; Indoor wall and low ropes course supervisor training; Personal Leadership Task facilitator training and other outdoor training courses are available. |
