 Our first aid courses are designed specifically for group leaders or group members operating in outdoor, remote or wilderness environments. The training focuses on problem prevention and effective patient management when access to definitive care is difficult or delayed. Topics covered can include trauma, illness, tropical diseases, hygiene, evacuation and monitoring, depending on the environment in which the group operates. Our courses are tailored to meet the groups' environments, activities, support and communication systems. Training is practical and scenario-based. First aid training specifically for young people are also available. |

 Travel Safe is one day itinerary-specific awareness training for people travelling overseas. Training encompasses basic health and hygiene, cultural awareness, threat assessment, language issues, emergency planning & response and communications.

| Travelwise |
 This is an itinerary-specific health awareness course for young people participating in an overseas expedition. Training centres around the theme of problem prevention, and includes hygiene-related illness, animal bites and stings, heat illness, fitness issues, psychological issues, malaria, altitude illness and incident management. The students work in small groups to devise problem prevention strategies, culminating in their ten golden rules for a healthy trip. |

| Incident management training |
 This course is designed for groups which operate in outdoor or wilderness environments. Training ensures that the group's response to an incident is effective and in line with best practice. Training is centred on the group's policies and systems both for immediate management on the ground and liaison with next of kin, media and other interested parties. |

| Crisis Team training |
 This is training for the team tasked to deal with off-site incidents, often in an outdoor or expedition context. Training incudes teamwork, leadership and communication elements and is ideal for staff organising outdoor or wilderness activities and the senior management team wtihin the group. |

| Risk assessment training |
Formal LEA-approved risk assessment qualifications for educators organising offsite visits.
Off Site Safety Management: This is a 2-day training course culminating in a written exam.
Educational Visits Co-ordinator training: This is a 1-day training course. |

BELA, WGL and Mountain Leader awards; BCU kayak and canoe 'star' and coaching qualifications; Single Pitch Award; Indoor wall and low ropes course supervisor training; Personal Leadership Task facilitator training and other outdoor training courses are available. |
