The course is designed for candidates who have attended a 4x4 Off-road course and includes: correct safe use and maintenance of winches and recovery equipment, practical winching scenarios and health and safety considerations for vehicle mounted, portable and hand winches. The course requires two appropriate 4 x 4 vehicles, equipment and access to suitable terrain. This can be run as a LANTRA course.
