It’s actually all about you, not us. We get no satisfaction out of telling you why our training is so great – we get our kicks from finding out about you, what you want and how we can make sure you achieve it.
We are committed to putting quality before profit, but if we do make a profit, we plough it back into other areas of the company, specifically trainer development and continuing professional development.

Richard Mayon-White Richard has many years experience in developing companies and managing teams, in both large organisations and smaller companies. Prior to joining Training Expertise, Richard managed the operations of a national sailing school on the South Coast of England. In his spare time Richard has travelled extensively, including climbing Kilimanjaro and Aconcagua. A commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster, he has skippered yachts in the Fastnet Race and Three Peaks Yacht Race. He now concentrates his efforts on triathlon and offshore yacht racing. |

Peter Harvey Having left Wellington College in 1991 Peter went to Southampton University where he gained a degree in Environmental Science. He is a fully qualified mountaineer and has run personal development expeditions for young adults all over the world. Peter is also a highly qualified Remote Medical Trainer and works with exploration teams as far a field as Iran and Guinea. He is a Major in the TA. |

Naomi Roberts Naomi is an Emergency Medical Technician Wilderness Specialist and a REC qualified First Aid trainer. Naomi is also a fully qualified International Mountain Leader and has been working in the mountains since 1999 teaching mountain skills and climbing, and leading expeditions both in the UK and the rest of the world. Naomi speaks French, German and Spanish and is also a qualified Veterinary Surgeon. She lives with her husband Mike and Labrador Ellie in Glasgow, Scotland. |
Claudia Harvey Claudia has been teaching and instructing soldiers and adults between the ages of 17 and 45 since 2000. These courses are primarily required for job promotion and career enhancement. The subjects include Mathematics and English, Defence and International Affairs, Management, Leadership and Personal Development. Claudia has travelled all over the world. Her qualifications include NLP and MBTI practicioner, and PGCE’s in Secondary History and Further Education. |

Pete Simmonds Pete is a keen Mountain hiker, backpacker, canoeist, climber and runner. He has experience in youth development and expedition leadership and is also a qualified Wilderness First Responder. He loves to travel and has explored many parts of the world including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Pete joined Training Expertise in early 2007 with responsibility for co-ordinating all training courses in the UK and overseas. He is now pursuing his ML Summer Award with the aspiration to lead groups again and is committed to developing personal skills in canoeing, climbing and wilderness medicine over the next few years. |
The Extended TE Family TE has a small network of expert trainers who we match to our clients' needs. Our trainers have expertise in a wide variety of fields, from medicine to driver training, personal development, incident management, teamworking and communication. Their experience also encompasses a wide variety of environments including arctic, jungle, desert, high altitude, sub-aqua and the open ocean. |
