What it is:
For those people who already have a First Aid at Work certificate the HSE strongly recommend they undertake an annual skills refresher course.  This course is a ½ day course covering essential first aid skills to complement the training received in the First Aid at Work course.

What’s covered:
On completion of the training, candidates will have demonstrated their competence to: 

• Assess the situation in an emergency; 
• Administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious and/or in seizure; 
• Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation; 
• Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded or bleeding and/or in shock.  
• The course should also include any updates or changes to relevant first-aid procedures.

Duration: ½  day                  

Certificate: Not certificated as complements certificate already held

Location: At your premises or at our training venue.
